1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 454 4-Speed

This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the seller in 1997 and is powered by a 454ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. Finished in gray over black, equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 15″ Rally wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, retractable headlights, power windows, and an AM/FM stereo. Work performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included replacing the battery, fan belt, fuel line, fuel filter, and taillight bulbs. This C3 convertible is now offered in Colorado with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name. The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Steel Cities Gray (988) and features a black convertible soft top. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, twin front grilles, fender vents, quadruple taillights, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The taillights were replaced in preparation for the sale. The hood does not close completely and requires alignment and repair, and body damage and prior paintwork are present on the driver’s door. Additional imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.
