Description
This Shasta Motorhome is based on a 1971 Ford Econoline E-300, and it spent time in Colorado and Utah before the seller’s purchase in 2025. Power comes from a 302ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, and the living quarters are configured with a kitchenette, a dinette that converts into a bed, and an enclosed bathroom. The interior has been updated with custom two-tone upholstery and checkerboard flooring, and the refrigerator/freezer, roof-mounted air conditioner, radiant heater, and water system have been replaced. The vehicle rides on American Racing wheels with front disc brakes, and additional equipment includes sliding windows, utility hookups, and a receiver hitch. This custom motorhome is now offered at no reserve with a build sheet, literature, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. According to the factory build sheet, the van left the Lorain, Ohio, assembly plant as an incomplete vehicle, and it was outfitted with a camper body by Shasta Trailers in Simi, California. The body is finished in white with red stripes, and bright metal “wings” are mounted to both sides. Folding steps provide access to the right-side entrance, and other details include sliding windows, West Coast-style mirrors, utility hookups, and a receiver hitch.
