1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 4-Speed

This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 was reportedly parked by its original owner following an engine failure with an indicated 22k miles, and it remained stored outside until it was acquired by the seller in 2000. Refurbishment work since that time included extensive rust removal, replacement of deteriorated sheet metal and fabricated metal components, refinishing in Bright Blue Metallic, and reassembly. The current engine is a 1972 service block with four-bolt mains, 4V cylinder heads, adjustable roller rockers, and factory-style Boss components; it was installed and first fired in 2022. The car is further equipped with a four-speed manual, a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok axle, Magnum 500-style wheels, front and rear spoilers, and a Hurst shifter. This Boss 351 is now offered with refurbishment records, photographs, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. According to the seller, the original owner parked the car early on following an engine failure. At that time, the car had around 22k indicated miles, and it was retained by the owner until the seller acquired it in 2000. At that time, the car was disassembled, mounted on a rotisserie, and metal repairs were performed before it was refinished in Bright Blue Metallic with silver accents.
