Description
This 1971 International Harvester Loadstar 1700 is said to have been used by the U.S. Department of the Interior in the western Colorado Plateau region before being sold to a private individual. The seller acquired the truck in 2019 and has since used it as a cleanup, roadside marketing, and parade vehicle. The exterior is finished in green with black front fenders, and power is provided by a 345ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a dump bed, cab clearance lights, a two-speed rear axle, a storage cabinet, and lap belts. This Loadstar grain truck is now offered at no reserve with a clean Utah title in the seller’s name. The truck was refinished during previous ownership in green with black front fenders and side steps. The fuel tank is mounted below the left side of the bed, and a metal storage cabinet is mounted on the opposite side. A dent is present in the passenger-side front fender, along with surface corrosion underneath the dump bed and various paint chips and abrasions. The front of the cab sits lower on the driver’s side, the seller tells us that one of the leaves in the driver-side front leaf spring pack may be fatigued or cracked. The hydraulic dump bed does not work.
