Description
This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II coupe left the factory finished in Light Blue over Dark Blue leather and was relocated to Washington after being acquired out of California by the current owner’s husband in 2005. Work totaling over $20k in 2026 has involved overhauling the cylinder head, connecting rods, and pistons in addition to repairing the water pump, servicing the disc brakes, and more as detailed below. The car is powered is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six fitted with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, while shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission linked with a limited-slip differential. Further equipment includes a louvered clamshell hood and 15″ steel wheels as well as a wood-rimmed steering wheel and a Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette stereo. This XKE coupe is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, spare parts, a car cover, and a Washington State title in the owner’s name. The car is finished in Light Blue and features a louvered clamshell hood, sealed-beam open headlights, and wraparound chrome bumpers. The body is believed to have been repainted under previous ownership, and the seller notes rust behind one of the rear wheels. Various body seals were replaced in March 2026.
