Description
This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is believed to have been acquired in the 1990s by the late James G. Robinson, who in 1988 founded the film-production company Morgan Creek Productions. It was repainted by his in-house team circa 2008 while being kept as part of his collection. The car is finished in Pale Primrose with a black soft top over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It is further equipped with a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ wire wheels as well as a wood-rimmed steering wheel and a Kenwood CD stereo. This XKE roadster is now offered in Maryland by the seller on behalf of Robinson’s estate with the owner’s manual and a clean Montana title under an LLC. The car is finished in Pale Primrose and is believed to have been repainted around 2008. Details include a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, sealed-beam open headlights, triple windshield wipers, door-mounted side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, and wraparound chrome bumpers.
