1972 Chevrolet K20 Cheyenne

This vehicle was purchased from the grandchild of the original owner who bought it new. After he passed away, they inherited the vehicle and it sat stored in a barn for 17 years. The grandchild had a child who wanted it to be their first vehicle and found out the engine was locked up. They had little knowledge, took it somewhere and found out it would cost too much to repair. I saw it and inquired about it and was able to purchase it for a father son project.

I pulled the engine and rebuilt it first. I used it as a wood hauler for a season. My son wanted me to restore it. I ended up doing a complete body off restoration using a clean Arkansas donor vehicle as well as other restoration parts. I have a picture album showing the process that I went through.

This truck has won a few local shows. It took best of show twice. Heads always turn when they see and hear it coming down the road.
