Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet Suburban is powered by a professionally built 6.0-liter LS-based V-8 engine from HP Engines producing 480hp on the dyno, backed by a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. The engine is equipped with a Texas Speed camshaft. Power is delivered through a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears and an Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential. It features a stainless-steel dual exhaust system, air-ride suspension with Belltech Street Performance shocks, Ridetech tubular upper and lower control arms, AZ Pro Performance rear truck arms, and heavy-duty Ridetech front and rear sway bars. Chassis modifications include a TinWorks frame stiffener and C-notched rear frame rails. Stopping is handled by four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, and it is equipped with power steering. The body was refinished in GM Medium Blue with a white roof and white lowers as part of a nut-and-bolt, three-year restoration completed in 2023. All glass was replaced and LED lighting was installed. It rides on 20-inch Billet Specialties Speedway wheels with 255mm front and 275mm rear Nitto NT555 G2 tires. The fully restored blue plaid interior features replaced OEM upholstery, carpet and headliner, along with front and rear modern air conditioning. A RetroSound audio system provides Bluetooth and SiriusXM. The build took more than 22 months and started with a clean-body Suburban. Receipts are included with the sale.
