1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

This 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is one of approximately 2,900 E-series examples produced through July 1974, and it was acquired in the 1990s by the late owner, who commissioned Norwood Exotics of Rockwall, Texas, to install a turbocharged quad-cam V8 with a MoTeC ECU. The owner passed away before completion of the project in the early 2020s, and work in 2026 involved a belt service and cylinder head refreshment. It is finished in Blu Dino Metallizzato over Beige leather, and equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, 16″ later-model wheels, plexiglass headlight covers, Daytona-style seats, power windows, and air conditioning. This E-series 246 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the late owner’s estate in Michigan at no reserve with records beginning in 2022 and a Texas title in the late owner’s name. The Scaglietti-built bodywork on this example is finished in Blu Dino Metallizzato and was stripped to bare metal and repainted in 2022. A replacement windshield was installed at that time, and additional exterior features include plexiglass headlight covers, chrome bumpers, and a power antenna. US-market lighting includes recessed rectangular front turn signals, side markers, and rear reflectors inboard of the taillights. The seller notes several flaws in the paint and states that the lower front valance area requires attention.
