Description
This custom 1972 Ford Bronco Widebody is powered by a new Ford Gen 3 5.0-liter Coyote crate V-8 engine paired with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission and a new Ranger electronic-shift transfer case for four-wheel-drive. Legacy Speed & Body Inc. designed and built this Bronco with a custom Raptor-inspired widebody exterior that incorporates styling cues from the modern Ford Raptor into the original early Bronco body design. It is serial number 002 of the company's limited-edition Widebody Bronco series offered exclusively through Barrett-Jackson and features a corresponding serial-number badge. The suspension features a new Wild Horses 2.5-inch lift system with Bilstein shocks. Stopping is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood hydro-boost assistance, and it has a Kincer fuel tank as well as an upgraded aluminum radiator. The exterior is finished in Desert Sand with a custom-painted Zeus Bronze accent stripe extending across the grille, hood, windshield frame and tailgate. Additional exterior features include a hideaway fuel filler integrated into the driver's-side taillight, LED lighting throughout, new bumpers, mirrors, handles, seals and weatherstripping. This Bronco rides on 17-inch KMC Grenade Crawl beadlock wheels with bronze powder-coated rings wrapped in 35-inch Mastertrack Badlands RT tires. A custom-fitted bikini top covers the full family roll cage with leather padding. The bespoke interior features distressed Cheyenne Slicker leather upholstery with Pendleton fabric accents, bronze trim and custom German-weave carpeting with leather edging. A leather-padded tailgate provides a seating surface. The custom full-length center console incorporates a locking storage compartment, cup holders and an integrated stereo screen. Additional equipment includes a new American Autowire wiring harness, Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera and Kenwood speakers mounted in the door and quarter-panels. The custom dashboard houses a Dakota Digital instrument cluster, while a Woody 7 wood steering wheel is mounted on a Flaming River tilt steering column. Other interior features include power windows with factory-style crank controls, new window glass, a new windshield and a Vintage Air climate-control system. The build was completed in October 2026, and the Bronco has been driven test miles only since that time.
