Description
Not a survivor, and not a quick respray over a tired truck. It is a 2024–2025 frame-up custom: chopped, raked, tubbed, and finished in a metallic green that carries through the body, the bed floor, the frame, and the suspension. The cab sits lower than a stock 1972, the nose is tipped forward, the door handles are shaved, and the side glass is one piece. A body-color aluminum tonneau covers a tubbed bed with a red fuel cell where the stock tank used to be. Up front, halo headlights and a narrowed bumper finish a nose that no longer looks like it left the GMC plant. Represented by American Classic Appraisals Under the cowl hood is a carbureted 502-cubic-inch big-block with chrome valve covers, a four-barrel, a polished aluminum radiator, and electric fans. A Vintage Air compressor sits in a shaved, body-color engine bay. Power goes through a TH400 automatic. The chassis is built to match the look: a four-link rear with 3.83 gears, coilovers at all four corners, SPC tubular control arms, a rack-and-pinion, and Wilwood brakes on drilled and slotted rotors. Wheels are staggered Billet Specialties billets, 18 inches in front and 20 in back, on new Nitto tires. Exhaust is a 3-inch Widowmaker system routed underneath. Inside, the bench is gone. Buckets are black with green stitching and inserts, and the door panels match. The dash and kick panels are painted body color. Gauges are a digital cluster with round pods, not the stock sweep. Vintage Air controls sit in the dash, a billet wheel is on the column, and a center console carries the shifter, cupholders, and a touchscreen stereo. It is a driver-style custom, not a stripped show shell. The owner describes the rest of the build as adjustable Aldan American coilovers, a Derale shroud and fans, an AVS narrowed front bumper, a Hotrod Innovations grille, a one-wire alternator, and an underglow kit. The chop is called at 1 5/8 inches. Those details come from the build sheet and should be confirmed on inspection.
