Description
If you purchase a vehicle in a different country to your own, it may be subject to local duties, sales taxes, or environmental levies when imported. You may find this introductory guide helpful, and our team is also here to help. However, you must investigate any duties or taxes that may be due on top of the purchase price before committing to buy. KEY FACTS A refined classic V12-powered grand tourer, this left-hand-drive Jaguar E-Type Series 3 2+2 FHC combines the model's iconic styling with effortless long-distance touring ability. It is powered by a matching-numbers naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, delivering power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Originally first registered in the US in September 1973, the car was subsequently imported to Denmark, where it is now registered with Danish number plates. It has been with the seller and the reportedly fourth owner for six years. During the current ownership, the seller reports that the car has benefited from extensive restoration work, including renewed chrome trim and a completely new leather interior fitted in 2013. The odometer indicates 37,126 miles, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This E-Type Series 3 V12 2+2 FHC is finished in the attractive shade of Imperial Maroon, over a cream leather-trimmed interior, featuring a contrasting black dashboard and transmission tunnel, as well as chrome trim highlights. It rides on a set of 15-inch chromed steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, fitted with Toyo Premium Touring whitewall tyres. Equipment includes power steering, a three-spoke steering wheel, Smiths gauges, a Kienzle analogue clock, dashboard rocker switches, and an air conditioning system. This example has been fitted with a Pioneer stereo. Accompanying the car are one ignition key and one door key.
