1972 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE

This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE was purchased by the current owner earlier this year, and it had previously been refurbished following long-term ownership in eastern Washington State. Work included removing and rebuilding the 2.8-liter inline-six and the four-speed automatic transmission as well as refinishing the engine compartment, replacing the carpeting and air-conditioning system, reupholstering the seating surfaces in blue leather, and fitting a stainless-steel exhaust system with a powder-coated exhaust manifold. The body was repainted about two decades ago, and other details include power windows, a Becker Europa radio, 14″ steel wheels, and full wheel covers. This W108 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve in Florida with spare parts and a Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC. Finished from the factory in Medium Blue Metallic (396), the car was refinished about two decades ago.
