Do the vacuum elements that actuate the defrost/dash/floor vents work properly? I have owned a 1972 350sl for decades and these are underappreciated. I prefer it to my 1988 560sl. Any known mechanical issues? There is a crack on dashboard and HVAC system was flushed out, repurpose but there’s models had adequate air conditioning at its best.
