1972 Pontiac LeMans 4-Door Station Wagon

This 1972 Pontiac LeMans four-door station wagon was delivered new to Trotter Pontiac of Chattanooga, Tennessee, finished in Springfield Green and equipped with a 400ci V8. It was acquired by the seller’s uncle in 2004, and subsequent work consisted of assembling and installing a 455ci V8, repainting the body in black, powder-coating the frame, and re-trimming the red vinyl interior. The car is further equipped with a TH400 automatic transmission, an overhauled 12-bolt rear axle, a dual exhaust system, chrome bumpers and window moldings, front disc brakes, a power-operated rear window, and black steel wheels with dogdish hubcaps and Firestone tires. The cabin is appointed with three rows of bench seating, air conditioning, and a rear speaker. This LeMans station wagon is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a removed engine, a build sheet, and a Nebraska title in the owner’s name. Refurbishment work completed between 2004 and 2019 included repainting the body in black and powder-coating the frame, while the windshield along with two doors and the rear tailgate were replaced under prior ownership. Other elements include chrome window moldings, 400 emblems, a dual-scoop hood, twin side mirrors, and rocker panel trim.
