With the exception of one repaint in its original color approximately 5 years ago, it is largely as it left the factory. Body panels, floors and interior are original. Engine and transmission are original and numbers matching. This is also a car you can get in and drive today; it is ready to show or drive for fun! The value of this car is in its originality, which has been enhanced by many years of tender loving care by its owners. Originally sold in Nevada, this 911 reportedly remained with the original owner in New Mexico for 23 years. The second owner bought the car in Albuquerque, NM in 1995 and subsequently drove it 400 miles before placing it in covered storage for the next 18 years. In 2014, this second owner sold the car to his brother and wife, who performed some mechanical and cosmetic recommissioning to get it back on the road. During the next 4 years, they enjoyed driving the car for 26k miles including road trips from Texas to California and Washington State. The current owner bought the car in 2018 and has continued to enjoy it, adding many smiles and about 5k miles to its odometer. The car is largely unmodified, except for some refreshing in recent years, including some interior replacement parts and one respray of the original color, aubergine, under previous ownership. Aubergine is german for eggplant. This long hood 911 has been maintained by the experts at Mayo Performance since 2014 and has its original 2.4L engine and transmission.
