1973 Chevrolet Corvette

Produced from 1968 through 1982, the third-generation Chevrolet Corvette (C3) established itself as an American performance icon with styling inspired by the Mako Shark II concept and a long production run. The 1973 model year is the only C3 to feature a body-color urethane front bumper paired with a chrome rear bumperettes, creating a distinctive one-year-only appearance. It was also among the final years that buyers could order Chevrolet's 454ci big-block V8, making 1973 one of the last opportunities to pair the C3's dramatic styling with the largest-displacement engine offered in a Corvette.

This 1973 Corvette Convertible has been with the seller since 2006, and it is powered by a 454 cubic-inch V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in Classic White with a matching white vinyl soft top over a Dark Red vinyl interior. According to the seller, the engine short block was replaced under prior ownership, reportedly in the early 1990s, and the engine is fitted with a 1971 Corvette intake manifold and carburetor.

This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 454 is now offered with a color-matched hardtop and clean Rhode Island title in the seller’s name.
