KEY FACTS A rare and highly desirable open-top French classic, this Citroën DS23 Découvrable combines the celebrated DS's pioneering engineering with the elegance and exclusivity of the factory-style convertible body. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.3-litre inline-four, driving the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. First registered in January 1973, this example is currently located in France. This example is reported to have undergone a comprehensive reconstruction in 2025, with the seller reporting approximately €68,000 invested in labour and parts. The odometer indicates 46 km, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This DS23 Découvrable is finished in an appealing shade of gold with a brown fabric roof, over a brown leather-trimmed interior, featuring a black dashboard and chrome trim highlights. It rides on a set of 15-inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps fitted with Michelin XVS tyres. Equipment includes the characteristic hydropneumatic suspension, power-assisted braking, a single-spoke steering wheel, Jaeger gauges, an analogue clock, front and rear armrests, and heater and ventilation controls. The original fuel injection system is included with the sale. Accompanying the car are two ignition keys. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the body was repainted during the 2025 reconstruction. The interior was also re-tri
