Description
This 1973 Ford Bronco is powered by an upgraded 5.0-liter V8 engine with Sniper II fuel injection paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Discovered as a barn find, it was built to retain an original-style appearance while incorporating modern features and a high attention to detail. The drivetrain, with the exception of the engine, is original to the Bronco, and the transmission and transfer case have been rebuilt. It features a 3.5:1 axle ratio with a limited-slip rear differential, 4-wheel disc brakes with hydro-boost, a close-ratio steering box, stainless-steel exhaust with headers and an upgraded radiator with electric cooling fans. The factory dual fuel tanks have been modified to retain the original dash-mounted fuel selector switch, which controls the electric fuel pumps and fuel gauge, while the original manual fuel control valve remains under the driver's seat to preserve the factory appearance. An updated fuse panel with additional circuits supports the increased electrical demands. The interior features Vintage Air climate control, Toms Premium seats, sound-deadening and insulation, carpeting, trim panels, power windows, remote power door locks, a lockable center console with power ports and an interior light, RetroSound radio, cruise control and a tachometer. Additional equipment includes halogen headlights and tinted glass. Documentation includes the original warranty card, owner's manual and window sticker, as well as a reproduction owner's manual modified with instructions for the upgraded features.
