1973 International Loadstar

This custom truck was built under prior ownership using a 1973 International Harvester Loadstar cab mounted to a modified 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 chassis. Power comes from a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 linked to a 4L85E four-speed automatic transmission, and the truck rides on adjustable air springs with a four-link rear setup, Rough Country rear shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and 24” Alcoa wheels. The interior features black upholstery and a touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay, and other highlights include an Edge Products digital instrument panel, a train horn, side-mounted fuel tanks, a gooseneck hitch, and a receiver hitch. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this custom Loadstar is now offered in Massachusetts with Maine registration. The Loadstar cab is finished in red and mounted to a Chevrolet Express chassis that was modified with steel box tubing. LED taillights are flush-mounted in the rear bumper, and other details include a gray-finished grille, aftermarket headlights, clearance lights, tow mirrors, dual side-mounted fuel tanks, a gooseneck hitch mount, and a concealed receiver hitch behind the hinged rear license plate bracket.
