1973 Plymouth Duster 340

This 1973 Plymouth Duster 340 was purchased out of Colorado by the seller in 2007 and has since been refurbished with work that involved rust repairs and a repaint in Rallye Red plus replacement of the white vinyl upholstery. The 340ci V8 was rebuilt under prior ownership and is matched with a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. Reilly MotorSports supplied the AlterKtion front suspension with rack-and-pinion power steering as well as the Street-Lynx rear suspension. American Racing 17” wheels are fitted over Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Other modifications include a Moser 8¾” rear end, TTi exhaust headers, a high-flow water pump, a Painless Performance wiring harness, a PerTronix distributor, Mopar-branded AutoMeter gauges, and a RetroSound stereo. This modified Duster is now offered at no reserve with component literature, service records, spare parts, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name. Finished from the factory in Rallye Red (E5), the car was repainted in 2007 following rust repairs around the rear wheel openings, the seller tells us. White side stripes with 340 decals were applied following the repaint, and the factory-specified partial vinyl roof was never replaced. Exterior equipment includes round headlights, dual side mirrors in body-color housings, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers.
