Description
Representing the last of the long-hood, F-series Porsche 911s, this 1973 Porsche 911E Coupe has been refinished in its rare factory-specified shade of Sea Blue over a Black leatherette interior. Equipped with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission, this example is powered by a replacement 2.4-liter flat-six sourced from a 1972 911E. This long-wheelbase 911E is now being offered for auction in Canada.
The body has been refinished in its original Sea Blue (329) paint, a rare shade often referred to as Dalmatian Blue or Oxford Blue. Exterior features include a ducktail rear spoiler, a body-color front valance, bright window trim, chrome door handles, and black bumperettes, and it rides on silver Cookie Cutter wheels wrapped in radial tires. The seller describes the paint as presenting well with a deep shine. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black leatherette with black carpeting and seats, and it features VDO instrumentation, a three-spoke Porsche steering wheel, manual windows, and rear jump seats. The seller notes minor cracking of the dashboard consistent with age, while the remainder of the cabin presents well. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to function properly aside from the clock.
