Description
This 1973 Porsche 911T Targa is a non-running project that its previous owner purchased with accident damage, then rebuilt and modified with aftermarket bodywork, a 1977 911S 2.7-liter flat-six, and a 1975 five-speed manual gearbox. Refinished in red over black upholstery, the car also has a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, fog lights, 15″ Fuchs-style alloy wheels, PMO carburetors, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a power-height-adjustable driver’s seat, a Pioneer CD stereo, and a heater. It was acquired in 2003 by the seller, who tells us that the car has been off the road since around 2020. This modified 911T Targa project is offered at no reserve with a West Virginia title in the seller’s name. Factory-finished in Signal Yellow (114), the car sustained accident damage under prior ownership and was then modified with a color change to red following the installation of an aftermarket rear spoiler, front and rear valances, and boxed rocker panels. Exterior details include a removable black roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, fog lights, a heatable rear window, and a driver-side mirror. The roof panel’s upholstery is torn, its rear cross-member is cracked, and it latches on only one side. Photos provided in the gallery below show dents, chipped and bubbled paint, and rust on the right-side door.
