1974 Cadillac DeVille

DescriptionGreat Lakes Classic Cars Proudly presents 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille This attractive Promendade Gold Metallic Cadillac, accented by the Dark Brown vinyl top and unique Gold Maharajah Cloth with Leather interior, is certain to add character to any trip. In the 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, the glove box was replaced with a lockable storage compartment under the dashboard. The option was unpopular and was discontinued after the 1976 model year. This year also saw the optional introduction of air bags. From the 1974 Cadillac brochure: "A quiet sensation... The Coupe deVille. There is first the styling. New. Elegant. Young. Its beautiful new lines, highlighted by the private quarter window, further accent its youthful flavor. As does the new grille design. There's finer engine performance... from start to stop. Then there is the quiet. As do all '74 Cadillacs, the Coupe DeVille features a new level of quiet- both inside and out. Even less engine noise with high-damping engine mounts, a fan clutch and a muffler for air intake. Inside the car, an acoustical network of sound-deadening materials- including double seals on doors- further reduces road vibrations and the amount of traffic noise entering the passenger compartment...."
