Description
Introduced for the 1974 model year, the impact-bumper G-series ushered the Porsche 911 into a new era, modernizing the air-cooled sports car while preserving its timeless silhouette. This 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe is presented in Peru Red over tan interior upholstery and is powered by a 2.7-liter air-cooled flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Offered as a four-owner example, it is documented from new with more than 60 service records and has recently been treated to a ceramic coating. This 911 is now being offered for auction in Colorado.
Finished in Peru Red and recently ceramic coated, the car is equipped with a sunroof, chrome window trim, and the impact bumpers of the G-series 911. It rides on 15” Fuchs wheels wearing new Vredestein Sprint Classic tires with fewer than 200 miles of use. The seller states that the paint is mostly original, noting that the left fenders and door were refinished in 1980 after the car was keyed, and describes the body as rust-free and dent-free with factory panel gaps and no collision damage. The seller adds that the chrome window trim is unpitted and that the glass, possibly including the windshield, is original. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
