1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500

My Spitfire is a wonderful 1974, 4 speed convertible.  The car was originally a west coast car. I am the third owner. The second owner was transferred from the west coast by his employer to Virginia. The company paid for his family's relocation including transporting the Spitfire. I bought the car 15 years ago when I lived in Maryland. The car has been garage kept by all 3 owners. Both the second owner and I drove the Spitfire as a weekend fun car. Never in any kind of precipitation. I had the car transported to New York when I moved here a few years go. I currently store the car in a temperature-controlled storage facility from November until June. In driving season, it lives in my home garage. I tell everyone that this car is the most fun you can have at 70 miles per hour. It catches everyone's eye as I drive by. From a safety and fitness perspective, it has passed the annual New York State inspection. Miatas are great modern cars but nothing matches the thrill of these original British sports cars on a fantastic curvy country road.
