Description
Restored in Brazil and recently imported, this 1975 Volkswagen Transporter is a Type 2 "Split Window" bus finished in Nardo Gray over a burgundy interior. Equipped with a manual transmission, it has been fully restored and wears body-color wheel centers with Volkswagen logos. Recently displayed at the Eurotripper show, this Transporter is now being offered for auction in Florida showing approximately 101k kilometers (~63k miles) on the odometer.
Introduced in 1967, the Type 2 "Split Window" is defined by its curved one-piece windshield, rounded bodywork, and forward driving position. This example is finished in Nardo Gray and features flared rear fenders and body-color wheel centers with Volkswagen logos. The seller describes the bus as being in excellent condition following its restoration. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior is trimmed in burgundy complemented with body-color surrounds. Accessories include a black-painted two-spoke steering wheel, a VDO gauge, a custom shifter, a radio and cassette player, and a driver's side grab handle. The seller confirms that all gauges and accessories are in proper working order.
Power comes from a rear-mounted air-cooled flat-four, which drives the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transaxle. The seller reports the bus has been fully restored and serviced.
