1975 Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi 23-Window Conversion

This 1975 Volkswagen Type 2 is a Brazilian-market example that underwent a refurbishment and a 23-window conversion before being imported to the US in 2021, and it was purchased by the seller’s uncle on BaT in January 2022. Finished in Sahara Beige over red upholstery, the van is powered by an air-cooled 1.3L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It is further equipped with a side ladder, a sliding red sunroof, roof racks, a front disc brake conversion, chrome 15″ steel wheels, vinyl plank flooring, a MotoRadio AM/FM radio, and an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. This Type 2 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Florida title in the owner’s name. As part of the conversion, the eight windows and sunroof opening were added to the roof panel before the body and bumpers were repainted in Sahara Beige. A red stripe accents the bright trim that starts behind the front bumper and wraps around the entire van. Equipment includes side air vents, a sliding red sunroof, and a side ladder and matching roof racks as well as a chrome-finished VW badge, door handles, and mirrors. The seller notes that the pictured surfboard is included in the sale.
