Vehicle Description 1976 Chevrolet C10 $15,976 1976 Chevrolet C10 Pickup, True West Virginia Barn Find, Same Family Since New, 6 Cylinder, 3 Speed Manual There is something special about an old pickup truck that has a real story behind it, and this 1976 Chevrolet C10 has exactly that. This classic C10 was sold new in 1976 by a Chevrolet dealership in Buckhannon, West Virginia, and remained with the same family from new. It spent its working years as a farm truck and, according to the previous ownership history, was kept in a barn throughout much of its life. It remained on the farm until approximately 1998, making this a true old-school barn-find pickup with the kind of history that cannot be recreated. Finished in a classic Light Blue exterior, this truck has the honest, straightforward appearance that makes these vintage Chevrolet pickups so appealing. Inside, it has been freshened with a new blue interior, giving the cab a clean and inviting look while still maintaining the traditional character of the truck. Power comes from a dependable 6-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. This is the kind of simple, rugged drivetrain that helped build the reputation of Chevrolet trucks for durability and ease of maintenance. It is not trying to be something it is not — this is a classic, honest pickup with a great family history and plenty of character. A substantial amount of recent mechanical work has been completed to help make the truck more reliable and enjoyable for its next owner. The goal was clearly to address the major systems and freshen the truck where needed while preserving its vintage personality. Recent work and upgrades include: - New brakes - New brake rotors - New brake calipers - New master cylinder - New exhaust system - New all-steel radiator - New tires - New starter - New fuel pump - New carburetor - New hoses - New carpet - New seat covers - New dash - New radio - New mirrors - New window rubber The combination of recent mechanical work, same-family ownership, West Virginia farm-truck history, and true barn-find character makes this C10 stand apart from the typical restored or modified example. This is the kind of truck that would be right at home at a local car show, cruise-in, farm display, or simply being enjoyed on a Saturday afternoon. It has the classic look, the right story, and the simplicity that made these Chevrolet pickups so popular in the first place. If you have been looking for a vintage Chevrolet pickup with real provenance, honest character, and extensive recent mechanical attention, this 1976 Chevrolet C10 is a very interesting opportunity.
