Description
1976 Ford Bronco was purchased from a previous owner in April 2021 in Jackson, Alabama and transported to Madison, Alabama to be restored. Prior to any work being done the vehicle VIN was inspected and verified by Limestone County Police Department on the chassis, driver side door jam and glove box door and confirmed to match and was then registered and tagged. The State of Alabama requires no title for vehicles over 35 years, so car tag receipts and bill of sale are proof of ownership. At time of purchase the original Bronco had a hard top and the body style had flared quartered rounds for all 4 wheels. The Restoration began in May 2021 and in Feb 2022 the vehicle was modified by purchasing a brand new 1976 Ford Rust Belt Bronco body style tub (with undercoat protection) with original quarter rounds on the front wheels only and installed. It was upgraded with a new Heavy Duty reinforced Front and Rear Interior Roll Bar Cage with grab bars and now has a New interchangeable Full Rampage Soft Top Black/Denium with Zip out side and back windows (glass windows are in driver and passenger doors) and also has a New Best Top Bikini Top. A unique feature under the hood are a set of James Duff Hood Struts installed for easier access to engine compartment. It has a new OEM Stock Steel 13 gallon Rear Fuel Tank and new Monroe Matic+ Shocks. There is a new Flat Tinted Front Windshield, Driver and passenger side Vent Windows, Side and Rear Mirrors with New Wiper Arm and Blade Kit installed. During the process there was nothing on the vehicle that went untouched and every part of the vehicle was inspected. It was completed in early 2025 and has been garage kept during and after restoration. It is currently driven to local car shows and Sunday outings. There are detail records which support all major upgrades, dates and vendors used including the smallest replacement items such as fuses, gaskets, bushing kits and etc. needed for completion.
