Midnight blue is wonderful and we love the story that goes to the car. The previous owner rallied the heck out of it and the damn thing feels sturdy when you drive it. It feels eager to supply a lot more joy to the next owner and the engine was stout. I’ve driven a lot of 450s and this one felt pretty quick compared to the others. This car came from a local Mercedes enthusiast’s collection, and we’ve spent some time preparing it for its next owner. Recent work includes the timing chain tensioner, alternator, engine and transmission mounts, steering linkages, and soft top release cable. We’ve also put approximately 100 miles on it to get acquainted with the car. It has the wear and items to address outlined in the description, and we’ve included a detailed underside, walkaround, and driving video to help everyone get a feel for it. I encourage bidders to spend some time with those and the photo gallery. I’ll be following along throughout the last few days of the auction, so please ask questions or reach out if there’s something you’d like to see more closely.
