Offered from The Thoroughbred Motorsports Collection of Dr. Karl Hens, this Type 911/82 flat-six carries engine number 6461890 — originally a genuine 2.7-liter 911S engine from 1976. Dr. Karl Hens personally drove this engine for approximately 1,000 miles before removing it in favor of a higher output unit.

Built to 1973 Carrera RS specification by the previous owner — featuring RS pistons, cylinders, and modified heads machined to RS spec — the engine has also been updated with pressure-fed chain tensioners and intake ports machined to accept the 1973 RS mechanical fuel injection system with 36mm throttle bodies.

Presenting in used condition, this engine represents an ideal foundation for restoration to the next owner's optimal specifications.
