Description
This 1976 Porsche 914 has been built into a 914/6 GT-style tribute and has undergone extensive upgrades, including a 3.0-liter flat-six sourced from a 911SC paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle, steel GT-style fender flares, lowered 911 Carrera-based front suspension, a Wilwood front big-brake conversion, a stripped and caged race interior, 15" Fuchs wheels, and more. Refinished in orange over a black interior, this race-ready 914 is now being offered for auction in Georgia.
The car wears steel GT-style fender flares and a repaint in orange, with black fiberglass bumpers and valances, a custom front bumper with an enlarged air inlet, and a GT-style engine cover. Additional details include pop-up headlights, Hella auxiliary front lights, European-style lenses, black sail panels, chrome dual side mirrors, a removable roof panel, a front tow hook, and tow-bar mounts. It rides on 15" Fuchs wheels with black-finished recesses mounted with Toyo Proxes tires, and the suspension has been lowered. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior has been stripped and fitted with a padded roll cage, GT-style fixed-back bucket seats, and multi-point harnesses in keeping with the lightweight 914/6 GT theme. Additional equipment includes a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel on an NRG quick-release hub, RS America-style door panels, a RennShift shifter, aluminum pedals and floor panels, lightweight window handles, a fire extinguisher, orange-and-black Coco floor mats, and replacement VDO instrumentation. The seller reports that all gauges function as intended.
