1977 Datsun 280Z 5-Speed

This 1977 Datsun 280Z was initially acquired in 1997 by the current owner, who owned it until approximately 2006, and they reacquired the vehicle in 2023. Subsequent work included overhauling the 2.8-liter inline-six and five-speed manual transmission as well as mounting Michelin tires, installing a replacement dash pad and carpeting, and replacing various suspension components. The yellow exterior has been refinished, and it was outfitted with an aftermarket body kit, 15″ split-spoke wheels, fog lights, and LED headlights with covers. The cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl and cloth in addition to a Grant steering wheel, a MOMO shift knob, air conditioning, and a Sony stereo. This 280Z is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with manufacturer’s literature and a clean Oregon title. The car left the factory finished in Sunburst Yellow (411) and was repainted in the 1990s. Aftermarket bumpers and side skirts have been outfitted along with fog lights, revised side mirrors, black hood vents, and H4 LED headlights with covers. The seller reports bodywork has been performed and the windshield and various window seals were replaced in 2023. The rear window defroster is inoperative.
