Lamborghini | Bentley | Pagani of San Francisco is proud to showcase 1977 Ford Bronco Velocity Signature Series , finished in Harvest Moon over Live Oak and showing 2,864 miles . Built as part of Velocity Restorations' extensively re-engineered Signature Series , this first-generation Bronco retains the unmistakable proportions and open-air character of the original while replacing much of the driving experience underneath with modern hardware. Power comes from a 5.0L naturally aspirated Coyote V8 4R70 4-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive The engineering extends well beyond the engine bay. Velocity developed its Roadster Shop chassis to bring modern rigidity, durability, suspension geometry, and road manners to the platform. Bilstein custom-valved shocks , front and rear sway bars, and an 11-leaf rear spring arrangement address body control and stability, while Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes use six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, a Wilwood master cylinder, and custom brake lines. Key Features: • Ford Performance Gen 4X 5.0L Coyote V8: Velocity tunes the modern naturally aspirated Coyote specifically for the Bronco application, delivering 460 horsepower with the response, reliability, and drivability of a contemporary Ford Performance powertrain. • 4R70 4-Speed Automatic & Four-Wheel Drive: The advanced 4-speed automatic provides a wide spread of ratios and works with an electronic transfer case to deliver smooth road manners while retaining genuine four-wheel-drive capability. • Velocity Roadster Shop Chassis: Developed in partnership with Roadster Shop, the modern chassis forms the foundation of the Signature Series and is engineered around contemporary standards of rigidity, durability, steering response, and suspension performance. • Bilstein Suspension & Sway Bars: Custom-valved Bilstein dampers at all four corners work with front and rear sway bars and an 11-leaf rear spring configuration to provide substantially more controlled road behavior than the original 1977 suspension architecture. • Wilwood Four-Wheel Disc Brakes: Six-piston front and four-piston rear Wilwood calipers are supported by a Wilwood master cylinder and custom brake lines, giving the modernized chassis braking hardware appropriate for its Coyote V8 performance. • BASF Glasurit Harvest Moon Paint: Velocity's Signature Series uses premium BASF Glasurit paint, with this Bronco finished in Harvest Moon for a distinctive period-influenced presentation. • Power-Retractable Side Steps: Signature Series power steps automatically deploy when the door is opened and retract when closed, making entry and exit easier while preserving the Bronco's clean side profile and ground clearance. • 6-Point Roll Cage: The upgraded six-point configuration adds two additional contact points between the cage and body and provides rear passengers with three-point safety belts, expanding upon Velocity's standard open-air roll-cage configuration. • Removable Soft Top: The soft-top configuration allows the Bronco to transition between weather protection and the open-air driving experience central to the first-generation design. • Locking Differentials: Lockers add meaningful traction capability to the four-wheel-drive system, allowing available Coyote V8 torque to be put to use when surface conditions require additional traction. • Kicker Sound System: This Bronco's Kicker audio system brings modern sound capability into the vintage-format cabin while complementing the broader modernization of the Signature Series. • Modern Signature Series Cabin Equipment: Velocity integrates contemporary functionality into the classic interior architecture with Dakota Digital instrumentation , Vintage Air climate control , and discreet power windows designed to maintain a period-appropriate appearance. The result is far more comprehensive than an engine-swapped vintage Bronco. From the Roadster Shop chassis, Coyote V8 and 10R80 transmission to the Bilstein suspension, Wilwood braking system, BASF Glasurit finish, power-retractable steps and modern cabin systems, the Signature Series re-engineers the systems that determine how the Bronco actually drives and functions. This particular 1977 Ford Bronco Velocity Signature Series adds a compelling specification of Harvest Moon over Live Oak , six-point cage, soft top, locking differentials, and Kicker audio, with 2,864 miles showing.
