Carfax doesn’t have records on vehicles earlier than 1981. Like you wagon , this car comes with all service records past and present. Paint appears to be original June 14th, 2023 at 10:07pm ESTIlovebigtoys (10) 0Are you bidding TedBenz or just writing to get attention. If you are not bidding your questions don’t matter.June 14th, 2023 at 9:59pm ESTTedsbenz (0) 0And kudos to the site they really did the best they could to help me and they didn’t even have to. I will 100% recommend and be a member. Tedbenz looking out for this community that has become my communityJune 14th, 2023 at 9:46pm ESTTedsbenz (0) 0Also, very important any of the panels roof anywhere been repainted?June 14th, 2023 at 9:38pm ESTTedsbenz (0) 0Is there any rust on this car anywhere? The frame the floorboards? Any proof of the mileage Carfax report? Why was the video taken of the cold start at 100 degrees June 14th, 2023 at 7:29pm ESTstewil (11) Seller 0@Kofg Thank you for your confidence and your bidJune 14th, 2023 at 7:27pm ESTstewil (11) Seller 0@Ilovebigtoys First thank you for you confidence in placing your bid on this amazing 450SL. With regards to your comment, on Tedsbenz, and I will comment lightly, he saw the car on this site. He didn’t purchase the car through MbMarket. After reviewing the matter, including all private messages and emails with him, It is apparent, that he’s not happy with the color of the car, now seeing it in person. His public comments are uncalled for and highly in appropriate. I will continue to work with him to resolve the matter amicably June 14th, 2023 at 6:01pm EST$10,100 bid placed by @KofgJune 14th, 2023 at 5:59pm EST$9,077 bid placed by @IlovebigtoysJune 14th, 2023 at 5:55pm ESTIlovebigtoys (10) 0I rarely involve myself in dialogues like these, but this time i feel like it is prudent:: I am sorry to see comments like the ones posted below. Obviously this is an individual purchase/transaction that should be resolved as such. Until there is a legal outcome such comments exposes the individual posting them to legal responsibility for publicly bashing somebody without legal proof. I do agree that some times a buyer might not get exactly what it seems like on pictures. This is where the “buyer be ware” comes in. If in doubt use a local appraiser or go see the vehicle in person unless you can send an agent on your behalf. I have experienced a similar situation as “Tedsbenz” is posting when buying a 1974 BMW 2002 back in 2017. What I received was “wreck” and nowhere close to my expectations from the posting on eBay. With limited or no recourse with a risk of very high legal costs if pursuing seller, I decided on a frame off restoration since the frame was straight. I made my loss a Win for me! So my advice is to look for a positive way of handling you situation. Just saying!June 14th, 2023 at 5:53pm EST$8,700 bid placed by @KofgJune 14th, 2023 at 5:29pm EST$7,777 bid placed by @IlovebigtoysJune 13th, 2023 at 9:54pm ESTstewil (11) Seller 0@Kofg Andy the entire MbMarket community: I apologize for the outlandish comments from tedsbenz. I can assure you and welcome you and anyone else interested in this current auction , that the photos posted are real and clearly represents the car in its entirety. I welcome anyone who wants to come see the car in person , or wants to private message me to discuss the car.
