Finished in its iconic white exterior over red interior, this example captures the unmistakable presence of late-’70s American sports cars—now enhanced with a potent 383ci stroker V8 estimated at roughly 400 horsepower. Paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission and true side pipes, this Corvette offers a deep, aggressive tone and the kind of driving experience enthusiasts are after.Mechanically, the car is where it shines. The engine and transmission are strong, the car is tuned, and recent maintenance includes fluids, brakes, plugs, battery, and an Edelbrock carburetor. It’s a true turn-key driver—get in, fire it up, and enjoy. The chassis benefits from new bushings, and while the tires hold air and have tread, they are older and should be replaced for optimal safety.Cosmetically, this Corvette presents well from a distance, showing nicely at 5–10 feet, but it is not a show car. The paint has age-related flaws, and there are minor items typical of a driver-quality car that could be addressed over time. The A/C system is present but currently missing the compressor. Gauges are partially functional (oil pressure, fuel, and battery working; coolant gauge inoperative), and while the tachometer operates, the speedometer does not. Power windows function but move slowly and would benefit from adjustment. The headlights do not raise, likely requiring attention to the vacuum system—common for this generation. This is an honest, performance-built C3 Corvette that delivers where it counts—under the hood and on the road. With its 383 stroker power, side pipes, and classic color combination, it offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiast seeking a strong-running driver with room for light cosmetic and functional refinement.Drive it today. Improve it over time. Enjoy it every mile.
