1978 Chevrolet Corvette

DescriptionThis is an extremely well preserved one owner Indy Pace Car with only 9600 original miles, plus it has the optional L-82 engine!! It was garaged all of it's life in SE WI and has never seen snow. These were very desirable cars back when they were introduced as the Official Pace Car of the 62nd Annual Indy 500 Race. 1978 was also the 25th Anniversary of the Corvette, so this car also has the 25th Anniversary badges. The Silver/Black finish is accented with the signature red stripe that circles the entire car and also trims the wheels. The original tires are like new and there is not a mark on any of the wheels. Inside there is very little wear, the original leather and carpeting is in remarkable shape. The car was never smoked in, and was properly maintained. All original docs are included, such as the orig window sticker, owners manual, placards, sun visor inserts, etc. When these cars were delivered to the original owner, it was the owner's choice to have the dealership install the door and rear 1/4 panel decals. This owner opted to not install the decals, but they are included with the car in the original GM box and are in pristine condition!
