1978 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car Tribute

Vehicle Description 1978 Chevrolet Corvette $21,995 With its two-tone appearance, loaded interior, and a numbers-matching V8, you're going to have to act quickly if you want this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette in your garage. This C3 has led an interesting life thus far. The buildsheet tells us it was born a desirable full black package inside and out. And the only way to be even more desirable is if your 1978 coupe is an Indy 500 pace car replica. So that's exactly how they upgraded the paint theme. It's a comprehensive two-tone where the silver lower section also helps highlight the flared fenders and cowl hood. And when it comes to upgraded cars, the whole idea is to have something fun that you can also drive. So we're glad to see nothing here gets taken too seriously. It's an attractive driver-quality finish, which makes it a nice driver-ready coupe. And you have especially attractive details, like the full-width rear spoiler, a chin spoiler, Indy 500 decals, and special redline alloys that go with the pinstriping. Plus, 1978 was also the Corvette's 25th anniversary, and the special bright badging doesn't let anyone forget it. While the exterior was upgraded later in life, the interior remains quite original. That's a good thing when you have a car that was originally optioned with a black leather interior. This upholstery as well as the door panels, carpeting, and dash all look good for their age, and that makes for a nice cruiser. And you'll appreciate the little things, like the working dome light, privacy screen for the cargo area, and the AM/FM stereo with 8-track. It also likes to be comfortable with features like power windows, a rear defogger, cruise control, and provisions for R134a air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) You'll love the driver's seat feeling with the high back bucket seats, a grippy steering wheel on a tilt column, and C3's desirable full gauge package. It makes for the ideal package to just take out the T-tops whenever you feel like it and go for a drive. The engine is the numbers-matching L48 350 cubic-inch V8. Everything from the bold blue motor to the black air cleaner has a clean and stock style. The four-barrel carburetor allows the V8 to inhale deeply, and the dual exhaust allows it to exhale with a nice rumble. Plus, you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, fully independent suspension, and four-wheel power disc brakes. So you can now see how this unique classic is the one you'll love to take out any time. The sale comes complete with the factory buildsheet, owner's manual, and maintenance records. This is the classic Corvette with a distinct style and the right comfort. It makes for the kind of great total package you've been looking for. Call today!!!
