1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500

This California car was purchased from the original owner. He was an engineer and took great care of it for his wife, who drove it around town. It's definitely a dependable driver; I've done a lot to get it there, as it wasn't used much in their later years. The hard-top is included, and the car has the hard-to-find original classic deck-lid luggage rack. A new overdrive transmission has replaced the four-speed. There is a completely new fuel system, including tank, fuel lines, sending unit, filter, and heat shield under the hood. New ignition switch, plugs, wires, rotor, and condenser. Added a hydraulic hood (bonnet) lift kit, all-new brake systems front and rear. The car is a The soft-top mechanism is included, but not attached (never wanted the top up!), and there is no soft-top fabric.
