1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Base

Acquired in 1981 and has remained in the family ever since. It has had very few problems and I have every single invoice/receipt of work done on the car since my family acquired it.

Items of note:

Factory replacement seats were installed in Spring 1991.

Car contains a 10 discs CD changer located in the trunk. It needs to be connected to power in order to function.

Currently there is oil seeping from the oil pan, timing cover, and rear main seal. There is transmission fluid leaking from the input shaft and tail shaft and a fluid leak from the power steering.

A new catalytic converter was installed the Summer of 2023. Also the passenger side of the exhaust manifold was replaced at that time.

The antenna from the radio has broken off.
