Description
This 1979 Porsche 911SC coupe was the subject of an RS-style build and refurbishment by Gaswerks Garage circa 2022, at an estimated cost of $170k. The car was finished in Leaf Green over black leather and houndstooth upholstery, and additional work included the installation of amber H4 headlights, auxiliary driving lights, 16″ Campagnolo-style Group 4 wheels, Boxster-specification brake components, earlier-style front sport seats, a roll bar, a leather-trimmed dashboard, a 917-style shift knob, and a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel. Powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a Dansk muffler, air conditioning, and power windows. The car was acquired by the seller in 2025, and subsequent work included fluid changes, a valve adjustment, addressing an oil leak, and replacing the evaporator blower motor, fuel pump, throttle bushings, and more. This modified 911SC coupe is now offered with service records, three keys, touch-up paint, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. Previously finished in red, the car was finished in the current shade of Leaf Green during the build. Exterior details consist of amber H4 headlights, frunk-mounted driving lights, green and gold Porsche script on the lower body panels, and white door roundels. The seller tells us that paint protection film has been applied to the entirety of the body, and that a non-tinted UV-reducing ceramic film has been installed on the windows.
