1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500

This 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500 was first sold by Hank Bokman Oldsmobile of West Seneca, New York, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2016. It is finished in Brooklands Green with a matching hardtop over tan vinyl and multicolored cloth. Powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission, the car features 13″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, and a Zenith Stromberg carburetor in addition to a wood-veneer dashboard, a heater, and a cassette stereo. This Spitfire is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with a car invoice, service records, a car cover, and a New York title in the current owner’s name. The Spitfire was introduced in 1962 and manufactured through 1980, and the 1500 was the final model offered from 1975 to 1980. This example is finished in Brooklands Green (HAE) and features a matching removable hardtop, a driver-side mirror, and black bumpers with overriders. The seller notes rust on the leading edge of the hardtop and paint imperfections.
