1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Base

This 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is an attractive classic roadster finished in highly appealing Lapis Blue with a matching blue interior. It has a very nice overall presentation, an odometer reading of 91,440 miles, and the timeless styling that makes the R107-generation SL such an enduring classic. The car has had relatively few owners and spent most of its life in California. It has also been restored and presents nicely throughout. The paint is very nice and appears to be of high quality, while the upgraded Mercedes chrome wheels complement the exterior particularly well. The interior is equally appealing. The seats have been redone and look very nice, and the carpets are clean. The convertible top is in nice overall condition, with one minor tear at a fold. Mechanically, the car is in good working condition. After standing for more than three years, it has recently been brought back to life. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, and the automatic transmission shifts nicely. The spare tire area is clean, and the underside appears solid. The car also comes with a spare wheel, tools, new matching gray sun visors, carpets and books. Important title disclosure: This car was involved in an earlier collision and carries a rebuilt title. Buyers should take this history into account when considering the vehicle. We encourage interested buyers to review the photographs carefully and contact us with any questions about the car and its title. Overall, this is a very attractive-looking classic Mercedes-Benz roadster in a desirable color combination. At $7,950, it offers an opportunity to own a presentable 380SL at an accessible price point, provided the rebuilt-title history is suitable for the buyer.
