Description----1982 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 INDY 500 PACE CAR---- VIEW ALL OUR PHOTOS ON OUR WEBSITE! Offered for sale is a highly desirable 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Indy 500 Pace Car, representing the debut year of the third-generation Camaro and its selection for the Indianapolis 500. This is a real pace car, showing just 34,565 original miles, and it presents exceptionally well following a full repaint completed in-house at our body shop. The car has been fully serviced and is ready to be enjoyed, whether as a collector piece or a weekend driver. Power comes from the factory Cross-Fire Injection 5.0L V8, paired with an automatic transmission, delivering the distinctive early fuel-injected performance these cars are known for. It is well equipped with desirable factory options including T-Tops with the original storage bag, power windows and door locks, a power rear hatch release with rear defrost, functional air conditioning, cruise control, and a tilt steering column with the factory 3-spoke steering wheel. The car also retains its original AM/FM radio with cassette, a working cigarette lighter, and a fully functional hood flapper. It sits on a brand new set of Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, giving it the correct period stance and look. Included with the sale are the original owner’s manuals and factory literature, further supporting its originality and collectibility. This is a clean, well-sorted example of an iconic early third-gen pace car with low miles, strong presentation, and the right combination of originality and recent service.
