1982 Chevrolet Corvette Base

This Corvette's story starts in Pompano Beach, Florida, where it was delivered new to Fowlkes Chevrolet in 1982. Its original window sticker, which still comes with the car, shows it was ordered in Silver Green Metallic with Silver Green leather, and with a few well-chosen options, including the $999 N92 spoke wire wheels, a six-way power seat, power locks, cruise control and the electronic-tuned cassette stereo. Total sticker price: $20,846.07.

The car spent its early life in Florida and was clearly well cared for. In April 1998, it was featured on the cover of Vette Vues Magazine (Volume 26, Number 9), photographed with its T-tops off and doors open at the Fort Pierce, Florida show. It's still on the same factory wire wheels you see on that cover.

In October 1999, it changed hands in Fort Pierce with 20,720 miles on the odometer. After later being titled in New York, it came to Georgia in 2015, where it has been titled ever since. In the 27 years since that 1999 sale, it has been driven only about 3,500 miles. Today it shows 24,279.
