Description
If you purchase a vehicle in a different country to your own, it may be subject to local duties, sales taxes, or environmental levies when imported. You may find this introductory guide helpful, and our team is also here to help. However, you must investigate any duties or taxes that may be due on top of the purchase price before committing to buy. KEY FACTS This Ferrari 308 GTBi is a rare and highly desirable fuel-injected V8-powered Berlinetta. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.9-litre V8 driving the rear wheels through a five-speed gated manual transmission. This example was originally a US-delivered model, which was first registered in February 1982, and has since been imported to Belgium. The odometer indicates 49,095 miles, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES As one of the fuel-injected GTBi models, this 308 combines the crisp styling of the fixed-roof Berlinetta with Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection. This example is finished in the quintessential shade of Rosso Corsa, over a black leather-trimmed interior, featuring embossed ‘Cavallino’ logos on the headrests. It rides on a set of 15.3-inch five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Michelin TRX tyres. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, a top-tinted windscreen, an analogue clock, air conditioning, electric windows, Veglia Borletti gauges, and a black leather-trimmed Nardi steering wheel. This example has been fitted with a Sony CD stereo. As a North American-market car, it features the deeper front spoiler assembly together with factory rectangular side marker lights to comply with DOT regulations. The car is accompanied by its original handbooks, its original tool kit, spare wheel and jack, a history file of invoices, a workshop manual binder, and two ignition keys.
