I watched the detail shop meter the paint when I dropped it off to be detailed but I am not sure of the reading. All the detail shop did was a single stage buff and a basic cleaning of the interior. I wish I had more detailed records of this car but I have presented all the information I have. I am 41 years old and I have seen this car my entire life. My uncle use to tell the story that he bought this car as a tax write off for his business and after that he parked it so my aunt one day could sell it for her retirement. The retirement part he would say jokingly. Very common for odometer gears to break in these cars. Could have driven it for an extended period with no miles being added. Without service paperwork or carfax showing miles it's hard to document. Have you ever taken paint meter readings? Is it guaranteed all original paint?
