Description
This European-market 1982 Porsche 911SC Coupe has been comprehensively transformed into a striking homage to the early long-hood 911, finished in the rare period-correct shade of Beige Gray over a reworked black interior with carefully selected vintage-inspired details. Built by Porsche Classic Center Son in Norway, one of just five official Porsche Classic Centers worldwide, with an emphasis on authenticity, drivability, and performance, it features a rebuilt 3.0-liter flat-six with high-compression internals, 993 GT camshafts, PMO carburetors, SSI and heat exchangers, a rebuilt 5-speed 915 manual transaxle, Boxster disc brakes, lightweight fiberglass body panels, an external Ölklappe-style oil filler, a hood-mounted center-fill fuel cap, and numerous thoughtfully selected upgrades throughout. This meticulously executed backdate is now being offered for auction.
The body has been backdated to emulate the appearance of an early long-hood Porsche 911 and is finished in the highly sought-after factory color of Beige Gray, a rare and understated shade synonymous with Porsche's late-1960s and early-1970s palette. Exterior details include lightweight fiberglass front and rear bumpers, a front chin spoiler, a fiberglass hood with a competition-style center-fill fuel cap, an external Ölklappe-style oil filler modeled after the iconic 1972 Porsche 911, custom Porsche script side graphics and rocker stripes, polished trim accents, an RS-inspired ducktail rear spoiler, dual center-exit exhaust outlets, and staggered-width 17" Fuchs-style Braid wheels.
