1983 Datsun 280ZX 5-Speed – 124,000 miles - Red / Gray Cloth Selling my 1983 280ZX with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in red with a gray cloth interior and currently has approximately 124,000 miles. I bought the car with the intention of having a reliable, enjoyable classic Z. Since purchasing it, I have invested more than $14,000 in parts, maintenance, mechanical work and improvements. A significant amount of the restoration and mechanical sorting has already been completed. The car has had extensive work performed, with many items being replaced: • All vacuum lines • Water pump • Oil pump • Tensioner bearings • Oil pan gasket • Exhaust gasket • Clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder • Throwout bearing • All brake calipers, rotors, pads and installed stainless-steel brake lines • New Porterfield AP229 R4-S / AP230 R4-S brake pads • Brake master cylinder • Ignition kit and spark plug wires • Front and rear shocks • Dropped the fuel tank and replaced all fuel hoses • New exhaust/muffler (2.5” from exhaust manifold to muffler) • New wheels, tires and spacers o 16 inch Konig Rewind wheels, spec to 16x7 +0 offset in grey with polished lip o Brand new Continental 215/55R16 extreme contacts • Additional new/replaced interior and appearance items: o Floor mats o Upgraded speakers o Full headliner and recovered armrest o Hood emblem o Painted hood vents, front grill, wiper arms and replaced wiper blades
